Principles of life wisdom from The Seeds of Being.
Everyone on the journey of growth is learning. What makes the difference is where we learn from, and how soon we come to realize. Why learning from others’ success is the shortest path to growth.
At the end of each day we usually count how much we got done. There is another way of counting that helps us grow far more: what did I learn today, what did I take to heart, what did I come to realize?
Draw a house, place seven lamps inside, and see where the seven forms of complete wealth live — why all seven are needed, and which one to light first.
A life is not just one room. Every human challenge revolves around four areas — inner life, health, relationships and finances — and seven lamps can light the whole house at once.
When something is not as we wish, we usually look for what is wrong and try to remove it. The story of a dark room reveals a wiser way: instead of chasing the darkness, light a lamp.
Some people work hard all their lives and still feel exhausted; others travel lightly and still arrive. The difference often lies in the current they choose to travel with. The story of four boats.
Some people carry great ability yet never take flight. What holds them back usually lies not outside, but in how they see themselves. Six cocoons of self-limiting belief — and the light that opens each one.
We all wish to change — to live more peacefully, more healthily, more wisely. But where does real change come from? A butterfly, an egg, and the principle that lasting growth always begins from within.
